Concealer:

It is very important to choose the right color concealer

• Test the variations of yellow based concealers since white, pink and green concealer can leave colors.
• Select a concealer which is most appropriate for the area you want to cover. Like liquid concealer is especially recommended for dry skin and for concealing large area like under eye circles. Solid concealer is necessary to hide stubborn pimples, scars.

Foundation:

According to the skin, chose a good foundation:

• The most important thing is to chose the foundation according to the look you want to have.
• It should give perfect shade to the face. It should disappear into the skin. So you should go for branded foundation.
• For oily skin, the foundation with an oil free formula should be preferred so that it lasts for a day.
• You must check in on your jaw-line because any foundation looks darker in the bottle
• For dry skin, a creamier formula foundation should be used that offers moisturizing advantages too.

Blusher:

· A lighter color blusher should be used for the day and a darker color for evening make-up.

· Blusher depends on the type of skin:

· For tanned skin blusher should be of orange, peach, apricot and coral shades

· For fairy skin it should be of tawny, pink or beige shades

· For dark skin it should be of deep brown, plum and auburn shades.

· For yellow toned skin it should be of almond and copper shades.

· Blusher selected should match the color of the cheeks as well as color of nail enamel, lips stick, eye shadow etc.

· For professional look round brush should be used which is provided with the blush.

Face powder:

It solely depends on the complexion and the type of skin you are having. It is available in two forms: loose powder and cake. For oily skin loose powder should be preferred and cake is best for the dry skin.

Eye shadow:

The eye shadow chosen must enhance your eye color and shape of the eyes. The main thing is choosing the right color.

For choosing the following should be kept in mind:

• Natural and sober color should be chosen. Bright and trendy color gives an artificial look so they should be mixed with suitable tones.
• Choose the color that matches the shade of eyes.
• It should give you a natural look.
• You should mix the colors well so that there are no hash lines.
• Choose light colors which will give much attractive look.

Eye liner:

Tips to choose eye-liners:

• Black/ brown eyeliner should be used.
• Shade should darken the eye shadow.
• Choose a self sharpening pencil as proper care and practice is required for liquid liner. These are softer than regular pencils.

Eye-mascara:

• Chosen mascara should not pour and should be made up of natural wax.
• Choose a branded product.
• Water proof mascara should be used.
• The eye mascara chosen should suit your complexion.

Lip pencil:

Lip pencil should match the shade of lipstick. Choose a little bit darker shade than the shade of your lipstick. It would look more attractive as the shape of your lip will appear clearly.

Lip-stick:

Lipsticks come in variety of colors. The color you choose must match not only with your make up but with your dress and other things as well. Soft colors are suited for pale skin and for darker skins, vibrant colors are preferred.
