Beauty Sleep

A complete and good rest is known as beauty sleep. It is useful for reducing hormones of stress.

A deficiency of sleep can leave irritation. One should sleep for about 8 hours each night to improve the texture of the skin.

The surface of skin restores harmful effects of stress during the night.

Sleepless nights can be left dark circles, puffy bags or fine lines.

People must follow the following tips while sleeping at night:

  • The temperature of the bedroom must be cool and calm.
  • One should keep the bedroom dark with dark fabric of windows. If it is impossible, one can try dark eyeshades.
  • Do not make a noise in bedroom; sounds in bedroom should be consistent and low. One can use earplugs.
  • One should turn the clock as he/she cannot see the clock if he/she wakes up at the midnight or during the night period.
  • Do not keep computers and TVs in the bedroom for getting beauty sleep.
  • Do not use alcohol before going to the bed at night. As it may fall asleep and wake up during the night.
  • Nicotine is a stimulant, so avoid or minimize before going to bed at night.
  • Never go to bed overly full or hungry. One can take a snack early before going to bed.
  • Do not take caffeine from tea, chocolate, cola and coffee, it can affect beauty sleep.
  • One should use only natural-fill pillows such as feather or down as they can easily adjusted. If one suffers from backache, put a soft pillow between knees for getting comfortable sleep.
  • One should make a bedtime routine.
  • People should close the eyes and take deep breathe on the bed at night. And should concentrate on the happenings.
  • One should allow a half hour to bath, unwind, brush the teeth and hair, have a warm milk and cleanse face. They will make mentally for beauty sleep.
  • One should always cleanse the face with a gentle cleanser before going to bed at night.
  • Try and go for a walk after taking dinner.
  • Avoid synthetic bed sheet, use only cotton, soft and clean bed sheet.
  • Do not take large meals before going to bed.
  • Never read, work in bed or watch television. One should use the bed only for sleeping.
  • Try meditation or conscious relaxation before going to bed.
  • Before sleeping, drink a full glass of warm milk that contains a tablespoon of honey.
  • Keep regular hours for waking and sleeping.
