Body Oils

Body oils are chemical free and safe for skin. Using of these oils make skin soft, smooth and clean. There are many essential oils such as coconut oil, almond oil, sesame oil, olive oils and tea tree oil for different parts of the body.

Oils for the body

Sesame oil is very beneficial to make skin smooth and soft. One can use this oil with combined another oils like coriander, lemongrass or bergamot.

If one has a cellulite disease, keep in mind take a steam or hot bath with a few drops of any essential oil as they tend to block pores in the skin. One can also use vegetable oil such as jojoba oil or olive oil for the body.

Oils for the feet

Essential oils are very effective to get rid of cracked heels. One should massage with a few drops of essential oil regularly. Before going to bed, take a little tub and dip the feet in it. Take a few drops of olive oil and pour it into the tub. And then, dip the feet for a few minutes. After this, take out the feet and wipe feet with soft cloth. At last, massage with generous quantity of cold cream and then, wear cotton socks. One feels very fresh.

Oils for the face

One can use oils such as jojoba oil for massaging the face. For dry to normal skin, jojoba oil is very useful for face. People who have oily skin can use oils such as sage, camphor, peppermint, clove and cypress. One with sensitive skin can use olive oil for moisturizing. Aloe Vera oil is unbeatable for removing inflammation and irritation of the sensitive skin.

Oils for the hair

There are many oils used for hair care. People who have normal hair should use coconut oil for getting the best results. Mustard oil is very effective for those people who have dry hair. Emu Oil, almond oil works beautifully and miraculously. One, who has oily hair, can use the mixture of aroma oil and vegetable oil. For reducing dandruff from the hair, one should use any vegetable oil with castor. Aloe Vera oil is very effective for shiny and glossy hair.

Oils for the hands

One should use mixture of olive and almond oil to the hands before going to bed at night. One should this oil regularly to make hand soft and strength.

Oils for the eyes

Almond oil or vitamin E oil is very effective to reduce dark circles under the eyes. One should apply a few drops of almond oil or Vitamin E oil under the eye area.

Care Of Nails

Good nails are also essential in natural beauty. Dry, cracked, bitten off decreases the beauty of hands and feet.

Proper diet rich in calcium, protein and vitamins should be taken for proper care of nails. Tomato juice with gelatine gives good nourishment to the nails.

Soaking your hands in hot oil for 10 minutes is also effective. The oil used in this can be hot almond oil or baby oil. Rub your nails with lemon juice for beautiful nails and to remove strains

Reveal your beauty by following steps:

· Remove the old enamel.

· Dip your hands in soapy water for sometime after removal of enamel.

· Use sponge to clean your nails and make your hands dry thoroughly.

· Fill your nails only in direction from side to centre because if you follow to and fro movement the edges can be chopped off.

· Bevel the edges of the nail by holding the board at an angle of 45 degree to the nails tip and working fine edge in an upward direction. It reduces the chances of breaking of nails.

· Check the symmetry by direction of the palm facing you.

· With cuticle, clean the edges of your nails.

· Clean the inner side of nails using padded stick with cotton wool.

· Use buffers to soften and glow the nails.

· Massage your fingers using scrub or hand cream.

Care of toe nails should be taken in the same way as above.

Instead of nail paints following cosmetics can be used:

Nail lacquers:

This includes nail enamels, top-coats, base coats etc.

Base coats:

They do not contain coloring agent. They are used to improve the adhesion of the nail paints to the nail. They have addictives which improves the quality of the nails.

Top coats:

They improve the lustre of the enamel. They increase the resistance of the nail paint to chipping and abrasion. They include sunscreen which protects the nails from sunlight. They also do not contain coloring agents.

Nail enamels:

This contains cellulose nitrate. There is a wide range of colors available for this. Use the color which brings fabulous look to one’s hands.

Care Of Eyes

Sugar and starch should not be taken as it makes the eyes dull. If the nerves and blood vessels gets disturbed eyes appear be dull and looks tired. The skin surrounding around the eyes is very delicate. After getting up in the morning, splash cold water on your eyes. It improves blood circulation. Wipe eyes with apple juice as apple juice is rich in pectin which will makes the eyes sparkle.

Basic eye problem:

Dark circles

This is a very common problem which is caused due to fatigue, lack of sleep, migraine, stress, dietary deficiency, anemia or kidney disease. These dark circles appear usually during mid 30’s and become quite visible because the skin surrounding the eyes is quite thin and delicate.

Remedies for dark circles:

  • A good healthy sleep is advised.
  • Take some water and boil some tea in it. Wait till it gets cool and then make ice cubes of it and then put these cubes around eyes. This will nake eyes looks brighter.
  • Apply the cleansing cream around the eyes for fifteen minutes. Leave it dry and the wash it moist cotton.
  • For washing your eyes Epsom salt should be used.
  • Keep two slices of cucumber on both the eyes for about an hour which will cool the eyes.
  • Apply castor oil for any boil in or around eyes.
  • Wash the eyes with rose water. This would cool the eyes.
  • A nutrient rich diet should be taken.
  • Put a drop of refined castor oil into our eyes to get rid of dirt.

Laughter lines:

The skin around the eye is approximately ten times thinner than the skin which is on lower cheek. The use of skin around the eyes is used about ninety thousand times per day for blinking. That is the reason skin around the eyes shows sigh of ageing very early.

Tips for laughter lines:

  • Massage with corn oil or castor around the eyes.
  • Face packs and bleaching should be avoided near the eyes.
  • Good quality kajal and apply with god quality eye pencil and eyeliner.

Crow’s feet:

These are wrinkles at the corners of the eye. They appear because of old age, dryness of skin or sometimes due to cold wind. The protection from sun is necessary for preventing crow’s feet and laughter lines.

Treatment:

  • Apply petroleum jelly or olive oil on crow’s feet.
  • You can also apply this homemade wrinkle cream
  • Lanolin Almond Cream
  • Take one tablespoon of almond oil
  • Take two tablespoons of lanolin.
  • Heat the lanolin over slow heat till it melts. Add almond oil to it. Mix the ingredients to make a smooth paste. Apply this paste on skin near eyes. It will be very effective

Diet for eyes:

The most important component for good eyes and vision is vitamin A. you can have cod liver oil and fish. Yellow fruits and vegetables are good source of vitamin A. Egg yolk and butter are also rich in vitamin A green leafy vegetables should be taken more.

Makeup For Dark Skin

Foundation:

Choose a creamy or liquid foundation. Water based foundation is preferred.

A sheer foundation and a good concealer are important for creating the illusion of perfect skin. The foundation should not be lighter than skin color.

Dark skin shows up layers of make up much more than fair skin so mixing should be done carefully. Add a drop of water to foundation before applying it.

Powder:

Use a light powder after the foundation. This gives the skin a shine and is not too heavy. Avoid applying too much powder. Dust off the excess powder.

Blusher:

For blushing use colors like coral, rose and deep orange. Avoid brown and peachy shades. For very dark skin shades of bronze, plum and wine are suggested. Blend the blusher over the cheekbones as it brightens the skin color.

Eye-make up:

Dark purple and blue colors look good on dark skin colors. Dark metallic colors also look good. Use eyeliner and black mascara in the end.

Avoid white or light color eye-shadow.

Highlighter:

It is used on the bridges of the nose, around the eye area, above the cheek bones and upper lip for dark skin people.

Lipstick:

Medium and dull shades lipsticks look better. If you have dark lips, apply some foundation and powder before lipstick. Lip colors such as caramel, blackberry and purples can be applied by dark skin people.

Makeup For Teenagers

Mother has always fretted teenage girls for excess using of cosmetic products.

But now, mothers can easy breathe for teen girls use cosmetics.

  • Teenage girls should use lipstick in a light shade or natural shade. A lip-gloss is useful for the lips to get natural beauty.
  • One can use lip moisturizer that containing softness of beeswax and tea tree oil with the antiseptic qualities.

Before removing the makeup, teenage girls must be washed hands with a gentle antiseptic gel and leaves the hands from germ or bacteria. After cleaning the hands, use cleanser to clean the face.

Always remember that take an appropriate amount of cleanser to remove makeup. And then use a non-alcoholic toner or cold water on face. One can use moisturizer with beeswax to leave skin soft and pampered.
